the workshop was big fun and also quite succsessful, that means the result was good.Gilberto Doretti, Andreas Brandolini and Francois Burkhardt were the chiefs on the playground. we stayed for three days in that village called Meisenthal to work with the soufleurs.

this shape i did in 2002... casted aluminium, i used plaster as a mold, but this was a mistake, cause the water still contained in the even "dry" plaster turned into steam and i got a kind of foam...

a study of a for me new technic making the molds much faster and easier resulted in this bowl. the model is cnc milled, but looks really handmade. it is made of crystal glass with the method of "pate de verre".

the work of my exam. 'learning from sneakers' was the initial the of my exam work. to keep the body in constant soft motion while seated, i applied the principle of a sneaker to the seat.
